08.02.2025 – Sun Prairie Sustainability Fair (10am-4pm CST)
WCC Member, the City of Sun Prairie, is excited to host its inaugural Sun Prairie Sustainability Fair in summer of 2025. The Sun Prairie Sustainability Fair is a gathering of individuals, organizations, and businesses within the Greater Dane County Area who are interested in understanding and engaging in building a more sustainable and resilient future. Community members and families of all ages will learn new ways of bringing sustainable practices into their everyday lives including renewable energy, energy efficiency, electric vehicles, zero waste practices, sustainable investment, child and youth education, land conservancy support, native plantings, local agriculture, and more.
With community-wide sustainability as a top priority for the city, Sun Prairie developed this fair to provide a space for community members of all ages to celebrate sustainability, share resources, learn from each other, interact with sustainable technologies, and understand how to make a difference in their own lives.
The Fair is FREE to attend
It will include an alternative fuel vehicle showcase, low-impact food trucks, live music, interactive exhibits, workshops, and demonstrations for children and adults that celebrate environmental sustainability and show how it can be approachable, cost effective, and fun! Your involvement in the Fair will empower you to highlight your commitment to a sustainable future and understand the importance of actions personally and within your community that embrace a brighter, sustainable future in Sun Prairie, surrounding areas, and beyond.
