Clean Transportation Strategies and Successes

September 5, 2025 @ 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Wisconsin Clean Cities (WCC) invites you to join our Drive Clean Rural Webinar. As part of the Drive Clean Rural USA Project, WCC partnered to engage, educate, and conduct research on clean fuels and alternative transportation technologies to assist rural fleets.  Led by the Transportation Energy Partners (TEP) and Clean Cities and Communities Coalitions, this project raised awareness, bridged knowledge gaps, and addressed barriers regarding alternative fuels and advanced mobility transportation.

Join us to hear from speakers who play an important role in advancing clean transportation solutions in Wisconsin.  Rural communities face unique challenges and this webinar will highlight impactful strategies and successes while providing resources available through the Drive Clean Rural USA Program. Make the choice to be part of the solution. Register Today!

WCC is involved in the Charging Infrastructure Connection Simplification Resource (CIISR) and it is a project sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy. The purpose of CIISR is to develop best practices regarding the service connection procedures utilities use when providing (or upgrading) service for their customers’ EV charging equipment, as well as develop support resources for small fleet and MFH customers. CIISR is designed to include small, medium-or heavy-duty fleet businesses as well as multi-family housing (MFH) propriety managers or operators, located in HUB Zones or disadvantaged communities. The Piedmont and Coastal Clean Communities serves as one of the teaming partners that advises Louisiana Clean Fuels about ways to improve grid service connection speed, transparency, and simplicity for electric vehicle charging applications.
