Join our member, Sustain Dane, on Friday, November 7th for the 17th annual Sustain Dane Summit, a conference for sustainability leaders to learn, connect, share, reflect, and build new skills. This year the Summit will be held at the Monona Terrace Community & Convention Center from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Connect with fellow leaders in our vibrant local movement for the sustainability event of the year!
2025 Key Note Speaker:
Arielle King is an environmental attorney, educator, and strategist who works to make environmentalism irresistible. She is the host of The Joy Report podcast, which explores the people, stories, and solutions making an impact. With a background in environmental law and a deep commitment to education, Arielle brings a powerful blend of joy, truth, and grounded history to her work.
At the Summit, Arielle will draw from conversations with changemakers across the country—from ocean conservationists to brands prioritizing circular economies. She will facilitate conversation on emerging climate trends, the challenges today, and how we can each find our climate-forward niche. Her keynote will energize us to lead with resilience and purpose in building a more equitable, sustainable future.
Live Forward Awards
The Sustain Dane Live Forward Awards acknowledge change-makers and inclusive leaders who are locally promoting thriving sustainability, community healing, and resiliency. The nominee’s work impacts one or more areas of holistic sustainability: a healthy environment, equity & social well-being, and a just economy. Use this link to nominate a changemaker.
