In collaboration with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean School Bus Program. The Clean School Bus Program, which was implemented under the Biden Administration’s Bipartisan Infrastructure Law of 2021, was put in place to “offer grants/rebates to replace existing school buses with clean models to reduce harmful emissions from older, dirtier buses”. The Clean School Bus Program will provide over $4 billion over the next four years to replace existing school buses with zero-emission and low-emission models. The goal of this consortium is to educate Indiana schools on the benefits of cleaner fuels, reduce emissions, save operating costs and prepare them with information on the various upcoming funding opportunities, while providing safe transportation for school children. The Clean School Bus Consortium is created to be a resource for school bus fleets that provides peer-to-peer networking and dialogue-driven discussions for those interested in clean school buses. ![]()
