September 26 – Energy Career Fair of Eau Claire – CST 8:30am – 2:30pm

The energy industry is experiencing rapid growth and there is a rising demand for people with expertise in energy-related fields.
Sponsored by Xcel, attendees can explore careers from electric power distribution to energy efficiency through a series of exciting hands-on demonstrations and stations. At our seven unique stations, students and educators will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with promising career paths and how they can shape the future. The stations will be offered concurrently for 25-minutes each to keep students engaged and interested throughout the day. We hope to see you there!

10:00 – 10:25 AM: Rotation 2 – Solar Installer Challenge hosted by Wisconsin’s K-12 Energy Education Program (KEEP)
10:30 – 10:55 AM: Rotation 3 – Electric Vehicle demonstrations hosted by Wisconsin Clean Cities, provided by by Osseo Automotive
11:00 – 11:25 AM: Rotation 4 – Circuit Breaker Activity hosted by Arizona State University
11:35 – 12:10 PM: Lunch
12:20 – 12:45 PM: Rotation 5 – HVACR Program hosted by CVTC
12:50 – 1:15PM: Rotation 6 – Weatherization station hosted by Slipstream in partnership with local weatherization agencies
