September 18 – Webinar: EV Charging Site Assessments and Budgeting – 2pm to 4pm ET
The Electric Vehicle (EV) Champion Training Series, hosted by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), is tailored for fleet managers, facility managers, and other stakeholders involved in the deployment of EVs and charging stations. This series equips participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become subject matter experts in EV implementation. This is the third training in a four-part series and serves as an intermediate training. This training covers steps 5 through 7 in the ZEV Ready Center process, including best practices for coordinating with your utility, performing a site assessment for EV charging station projects, and communicating site financial planning with headquarters. Participants will gain a solid foundation to support the effective deployment and management of EVs and their infrastructure. Upon completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Recognize how and when to work with your utility on EVSE projects;
- Identify how to perform EVSE site assessments;
- Identify how to develop cost estimates for EVSE projects;
- Recognize how to apply EVSE business models and procurement/funding sources.
